Check for spyware. Run both Ad-aware Personal http://lavasoft.com and Skybot (http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html) to remove any spyware. Run both as one may caught something the other missing. Then go to microsoft.com and download Defender to protect against future infections. All three programs are free.

if using IE click on tools then select internet options
change the Home page url address from blank.com to yahoo.com click ok and close all IE windows and reopen IE
Also under tools select Manage add-ons and disable any processes you dont recognize.

I recommend you download superantispyware. It will remove blank.com. It is VERY effective and it is free.
