Shands is in Gainesville, Fl. It is about 2 hours north of Orlando. It is a great, teaching hospital. They do fantastic work with children receiving chemotherapy. Quik boy said "Jersey Hosp."...??????

shands is in gainesville about an hour and a half from orlando.
the most recoginzed hostpial in orlando is fl hospital.

Yes, it is in Gainesville, Florida, at the University of Florida.
I used to drive by it all the time. It is directly off Archer Road near the new medical building (where the old pony field used to be).
