my your computer drive does not support writing discs. if it does go to the companys website and get the latest drivers and patches.

The driver file may be corrupted -- right-click on My Computer and select Properties, go to the Hardware tab and click device Manager. It will be under CD/DVD drives. Right-click on the Device Manager entry and choose Uninstall, then reboot and see if Windows reinstalls it successfully. If there's a yellow question mark look for an error code and contact the computer manufacturer or the CD drive manufacturer. If Device Manager says all is normal but it still doesn't work, check the CD drive manufacturer's website for an updated driver.

Try to install another CD burning software like Nero or Roxio
