i am 11, have large blue eyes, brown hair with highlights that is going to be cut to my shoulders soon, and according to my friends am not terribly ugly :) do i need any makeup? if so, what should i use?

Ick. Sometimes at the mall, I see eleven/twelve year old girls (occasionally younger) wearing tons of make-up and I'm thinking to myself, "WHY?"
Save that for later, when you're older. Right now, just be comfortable with your own self. You're still too young to wear make-up. And you shouldn't be worrying about that either.

Do you need makeup? I doubt it. You probably don't have the classic skin issues that older women have that causes them to have to wear makeup(wrinkles, bags under the eyes, acne or acne scars, blotchy skin, sun spots, sun damaged skin, etc). But if just like makeup and your parents ok it, here's what I recommend:
- tinted lip balm (try Neutrogena or Avon, they're cheap to replace and moisturize your lips with a hint of color)
- clear lip gloss
- loose powder (cheap kind/Revlon Skinlights, more expensive/Clinique)
- if you must wear eye makeup, try a neutral color shadow (peach, pale pink, taupe, sable, tan) and skip mascara and liner for a few years
- lastly, try to find a system that works for you as far as cleansing your skin and removing makeup as this will be extremely important in not developing a problem with acne (two different systems that I like are the 3 step Clinique program and the Proactive system you see in informercials)

I dont be responsive to what colour you go with reason i cant see you. yet maximum honest skinned people look sturdy in a peach coloration. verify your eyebrows are plucked to look organic no longer over completed. Too skinny on no account looks sturdy. shop it as organic finding as you could.

I think 11, is way too young to were makeup. But if your going to, use simple stuff. Like they have clear mascara, it will open your eyes up without looking like your acutally wearing makeup. Use powder and lip gloss, but beyond that i wouldnt suggest anything else.

If you start wearing make up think about this if you start know you will most likely want to wear for the rest of your life. If your friends say your not ugly you should trust them, but if you must wear make up try come lip gloss.

are you a boy? if yes then you don't need make-up and if you're an 11 year old girl... you don't need make-up either. You should look okay the way you are at that age.

When i was eleven i didn't wear any make-up, don't wear any until your about 13. If you really want to, just wear lip gloss.

buy some lip gloss. really, at 11, girls are still pretty enough to NOT wear make up.
