Yes, you may be correct.
Evidently, according to liberals, the Geneva Convention allows for the be-headings of American prisoners.
Liberals seem to support that.

The last post has it completely wrong. The Geneva Convention is made to *protect* prisoners. The Republicans, ie the Bush administration, are the ones trying to make it so the GC doesn't apply. We don't redefine the GC because we can't go around changing the laws just to fit whatever's convenient right now. We managed to strike down the Nazi regime and the Soviet regime without breaking the laws - there's no reason we can't do the same now. (And we were in just as much, if not more, danger then as we are now.)
Besides, torture is morally wrong and completely counterproductive to our mission. Ask the guys on the ground, that's what they say. George Bush has it all messed up.

The Geneva Convention concerns military personnel. It recognized that soldiers are just regular people put in wartime situations and following orders.
Terrorists aren't in the military. They don't share a code of honor with the people they are fighting. They blow up women and children on purpose. They don't even have rank or serial number. I don't see where terrorists fall under the Geneva convention.
