The only beldin, really? the whinny sux are the only team good enough to beat the yankees in the first round? Is that why YOU AINT GOING??? Is that why the whinny sux are 5 1/2 games out of the wild card? You need to wake up, the whinny sux are terrible and awful and stink up the joint.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that The Tigers magic number to clinch a playoff spot is 5 (11 for the division). That means if the white sox lose only 1 game, and The Tigers win 4 then you can kiss those southside crybabies good-bye!
AND YOU CAN PUT THAT ON THE BOARD!
YEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

They both can handle the Yankees in a short series because of their pitching. The pitching will dominate over the Yankees.
Yankees SUCK!!!!! Yankees SUCK!!!!! Yankees SUCK!!!!!
Go Twins and Tigers!

Hard to say. The Tigers have had an amazing season, quite a change from their 100-loss year a while back. Right now the Tigers are 91-61, but the Twins are right behind at 90-61. They also have Johan Santana, who is hands down the best pitcher in the MLB this year. He's 18-5 with an ERA of 2.77 and 237 strikeouts. He'd be hard to beat, so I'll have to give this one to the Twins.

Gotta go with the Twins, although it's about even. Don't forget that the Tigers have struggled against winning teams (especially the Yankees, 2-5). Besides Johan Santana, Minnesota has one advantage that none of the other playoff-bound teams do: The Metrodome. If the Twins have any sort of homefield advantage, they would have to be the favorites of that series.

Neither. Twins pitching beyond Santana is a joke and the Tigers, despite hitting out the lollipops served up this week in Chicago, can't hit well enough to stay with New York.
Sorry, but the only team who had a lineup that can compete with New York is Chicago, and their pitching let them down (not to mention the fact that in too many games, their offense fell asleep until the 4th or 5th inning). You can pretty much pen the Yankees in as the AL champions.

Twins have a better chance because their offense is producing. Tigers offense production has been so streaky. Only way to beat the Yankees is for the teams to be able to out slug them and i think the only pitcher in the american league who will be able to shut them down is santana. Yankees already proved they can hit anyone on the tigers staff.

The Twins...
Tigers do not have as good SP.
I am a yankee's Fan and I do not want to see Johan Santana twice in a best of 5 series.
I dont mind seeing My yankee's vs any of the Tigers starters

Twins do most definitely. Tigers don't have much of a chance against the Yankees. Sorry Charley, but your Tigers are not going to the World Series.
