Elle Girl folded to focus on their web presence. This is the second teen magazine to do this. Publisher's feel that teens are not into magazines and spend more time on the web. Your generation's (teens) use/reliance on the internet for information can potentially end the viability of magazines in the (hopefully distant) future.

Yes it is true someone I know got a letter in the mail telling her that they stopped publishing it because it wasn't doing as well as they thought it would so she got a free subscibtion to cosmogirl for as many months as she had left of Ellegirl but she already got the magazine so it said that it will just add on to her existing subsciption. I am so sad too I loved that magazine too!

Yes they stopped publishing this magazine. I had a free subscription to it and they didn't offer andy other magazine for the remainder of the subscription. :(

They folded this summer.
Along with some other teen maagzines.
There's not enough ads or something.
