What other then pregnancy can cause vaginal spotting?
Is it always a reason for concern?

Weelll, that depends on the severity of spotting... I used to have a problem where I'd get my period two, sometimes even three times a month. That's WHY I'm on birth control. And sometimes I would only bleed for a day, then a week later bleed again. So it probably isn't anything serious.. but I would check some women's health sites or see a doctor just in case.
