Where in Thialand are the hospitals where plastic surgery is so cheap?

I have seen TV segments where this has been covered but no followup re the safety and results.

The hospital is located in a decent neighborhood in Bangkok Thailand, staffed by physicians many of whom were trained in the US. This means the physicians are mostly English-proficient (but I can't say the same about the nurses!). The hospital is kept to very high standards and internationally accredited. Although ironically for an institution that promotes health, there is a McDonalds in the food court and a Starbucks in the lobby.

My cousin is a nurse there (until we can sponsor her visa to come to live with us in the US). She's good at what she does.

My father (a Thai-American surgeon) has a friend/colleague/classmate who is a plastic surgeon at this hospital. This friend is board certified to practice plastic surgery in America, practiced for twenty years in So Cal, but chose to semi-retire in Thailand. He performed a blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) on my mother at this hospital.

Clue here: my family trusted them to work on my mother. And yes, she looks GREAT!

Accomodations are nice -- the place is set up like a hotel. Surgery is cheap, but you pay out of pocket. Lots of Aussies, Americans and Arabs come here for surgery. I had a consultation for lipo just for the hell of it, and was told I should just go run more (I already run three miles a day! how much more should I run?).

Get Plastic surgery in India. Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.

I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. As a doctor I personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

My cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift through the forerunners healthcare. She is more than very happy with the results. She just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. I personally have seen the wonderful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company. I hope this helps.

its alwyays better to invest ina professional. make sure you do you "homework" in researching about the doctor who is going to be performing the surgery. make sure they have all of their certificates and such. never go to a backdoor job other wise you can be permanently disfigured or even dead! do you want a doctor to operate on you with a cooking spatula?! noo!
