I will admit... that back in the day, Ultimate Warrior was bigger than Hulk Hogan at one point. More people wanted Warrior to win at WrestleMania 6 --- ( Hulk Hogan Vs Ultimate Warrior )
Ultimate Warrior was a phenomenon... but then again, I was 10 years old at the time.
As I got older... and understood the principles of Professional Wrestling, I went back to the late 80's, early 90's are realised how BAD he was!!
Dont get me wrong... because I would rather watch the WWE back in the 80's than the crap I see today... but the Ultimate Warrior was terrible.
His matches were not tooo bad... depending on who he was up against but as far as I am aware, a few wrestlers didnt like working with him. I think HHH is one of them (when Ultimate Warrior beat him in like 2 minutes!!!)
I remember when the Ultimate Warrior went to WCW and noticed that he finally started to speak properly. Another fault of the Warrior was his interviews... they didnt make ANY sense at all. Although being a kid... I thought it was fab!!
Today... he has turned to Politics... and yes I have seen the YouTube link of his 'lecture'. He was a laughing stock... but I respect him for what he does.
I doubt we will ever see him in the ring again... but whether you love him or hate him... ratings would go off the scales if he returned to Pro Wrestling!!!
He wasnt a good wrestler... but then hardly any WWE wrestlers actually 'wrestle'. It just about crappy matches now. We all cannot deny that he had a good gimmick and he stood one from the rest. There are good and bad points to the Warrior... but hey so does Hulk Hogan... and todays 'stars' like Batista and John Cena!!
Just think... John Cena will go through all this crap in 10 years time. When the 12 year olds today turn into their 20's.... they will look back and realise how CRAP Cena is. Very much like what Warrior goes through now.
All the best!!!

To the guy who said Warrior was, at one point, bigger than Hogan - utter tosh. Business went down sharply when the Warrior was champion.
He wasn't the draw he thinks he was, he wasn't as popular as he thinks he was, he wasn't a good wrestler (I could count the number of good Warrior matches on one hand), his interviews made little to no sense, his speeches today even less so, and even as an impressionable child, he bored the hell out of me.
The guy believes his own hype, and indeed constantly hypes himself when it's not needed just to try and get some attention. Useless.

Wether you like the guy, wether you think he can't wrestle or wether you think his wired, he shall never be forgotten. He came into the wrestling and left his mark on the whole industry.
He deserves a hall of fame, regardless to what you've seen them telling you on the DVD. He out shined the biggest icon ever in wrestling.
True legend The Ultimate Warrior.

lol the guy had a cult following that could've rivaled hogan, but unless you are a HARDCORE insider, there is NO telling just what went wrong with the warrior. I dunno what it was, but I do know there was ALOT of drama backstage.
I hate to think about all the "business" part of it, because when I was in jr. high, the warrior was feuding with mr perfect for the IC title, and more kids liked him than the kids that liked hogan.
I don't know the real story about what happened to him (hope I never know to be honest) but the guy coulda been one of the BIGGEST legends of all time

He was and still is to this day my favorite wrestler of all time.I think he could have had a much better career than he did.Wrestlemania 6 match vs Hogan favorite match of all time, plus he came into wrestling as a tag team with my 2nd favorite Sting.

No doubt about it. He was a cultural icon. His popularity rivaled that of Hulk Hogan's.
