Some people think that it is cool. Some people are not good typists. Some people do not have much expierence behind a computer. There are a variety of reasons.
Perhaps, some are just in too much of a rush to be concerned with proper typing.

They didn't pay attention in school, and they refuse to type, write, speak or communicate in any fashion in a coherent sense. That, or they just think it's fun. I don't know why people do that, but it just makes them seem very stupid and uneducated.
