I'm trying to figure out what the word benevolent means.
There, that's a sentence, that's easy enough, right?!
Fram464, that's a question, not a sentence. lol

The word, an adjective, means (put simply) "having good wishes" towards someone or something, so you could use the sentence:- "Most members of Yahoo Answers have a benevolent attitude to the people who ask the questions because they really want to help them out". Good luck.

Certainly, if you were to provide me with funding to enable my lifestyle to expand without my having to go out to work you would be acting in an amazingly benevolent way, to which I would be most grateful. Should you wish to do so please advise me and I shall provide you with my account details. There will that do

GiNa, just Google the word. That's what I tell my students to do -- you can always find sites that've used whatever word you type in, and then you can model your own (original) sentence off the ones you find.
