Going for the weekend and don't want to spend a billion dollars for good food or eat picked over buffets for every meal. Little help?

Definitely don't want fast food. I could get that anywhere. Staying in the older section by Fremont. Looking for casual dining without napkin dispensers.

In what area are you staying and what type of food would you prefer? The town has become so spread out that there are restaurants in different areas.

The locals do frequent the Station Casinos and Coast Casinos, which have buffets and other nice restaurants for a bit less than on the Strip.

However, even some of the Strip hotels like MGM, Luxor and others have food courts that have MacDonald's, Fatburger, Panda Express, Subway and others, which may or may not tack on a buck or two to menu items because of location. Still, a great way to go. There's also a large food court in the Fashion Show Mall across from the Wynn Las Vegas and one center Strip between Harrah's and Flamingo, across the street from Mirage.

theres fast food there too like taco bell and burger king. i ate at a burger king at a truck stop when i was there to save money. But if you go to the strip there's stuff like hard rock cafe, wasnt very expensive.
