My boss and I want each other. It's been going on for almost 4 years, but we have not acted on it. Yet. It's beyond flirting, it's now desperately wanting. I know if the opportunity presented itself, we would do it. We avoid talking about it directly, mostly making references to it, how fast the door can close, how quick all the clothes could be off, yadda yadda yadda. I know it's wrong, and I know how wrong it could all go. But life is so short, and I want him so much! We're both consenting adults. Can't two people just have meaningless sex without it wrecking the working relationship?

You already know the answer since this has been going on for 4 years. Just stop the sex talk. Talking about it leads to wanting it. Sex and the workplace always, in the long run, causes a problem. If you just can't leave it alone, quit the job and start a relationship with him.

Hell yeah. What is the big deal. If you want him go for it. As long as you are not dating you should be just fine. Who the hell said this is a bad thing. Well they are nuts. Sex at lunch on break even right before a meeting what could be better to keep you focused and on target then when the target is ur boss. This is seriouse do him and do him right.

Yeah! go for it! Meanless sex is possible. I have had friends I have fooled around with and we are still good friends. Just make sure you are both clear that is nothing but sex and please, DON'T DO IT AT WORK! unless you work at West Corporation in Victoria, BC, CANADA, where having sex is the main requirement for a promotion.

i've never heard of a good outcome regarding this subject- never- and i've seen it happen often....but there could always be an exception to the rule. you need to decide for yourself, and not rely on us "yahoos" how you want to progress with your future in your place of employment, and with your boss. on another note....how sad is it to have meaningless sex?

It always goes bad, especially boss and employee.

If you want him so bad, walk into his office, tell him you quit, bang his and your brains out an leave. Honestly that's the only way it won't get weird.
