The consensus of religious scholars is that Jesus was definately not born in the year 0. A scholar named Josephus said that there was a lunar eclipse around the death of Harod (who had to be alive during Jesus' birth), which happened just about 4 BC.
And neither was he born in December (there were, after all, shepherds in the fields).
So, he would be at least 2010.5 years old.

He is alive, and he's around 2010-2012 years old--the original calculations of his age, made in the 3rd or 4th Century, were off by a few years. The proof is that King Herod, who is said to have ordered the death of the first-born in the area at the time, to get rid of the reported Messiah, died around 4 b.c.; it was his death which allowed Joseph and Mary, who had gone into hiding in Egypt after Jesus was born, to return home with their son, who was probably around two years old.
