Yes - but only as a part time job do not quit school !

I did this from age 11 up until I left high school.
Made on average 15,000 a year non taxable money then of course there are tips and presents too!
Made it a real job, worked for all my teachers and they spread the word like crazy.
I made (a very long time ago) $5/hr/child and anything over midnight was double.
You really do not have to work really hard, most of it is playing, and you eat well and then once the kids go to bed it is your time.
Take the babysitting course and the children's CPR course and you are set to make a fortune!

Good luck! That's what college is for, so you can get the high paying jobs! Until then, just take what you can and concentrate on SCHOOL! In the end, that's the only way to go!

depends what state. A lot of state to get an official job you have to get a work permitt and find out what companies will hire a 14 year old. If not, then she has to work her butt off babysitting, lawn mowing, bake sales...to get her/his money!

well I worked at the tourist info center in my town and since it's founded by the government i made like $11.50 an hour
