Let me start with the biggest misconception, which is that 'acts' or our behavior will yield a reward. He doesn't need us.
The Mainstream "Attribute" that is off base, including non-Christian Monotheistic religions, is that God can be understood; that is intellectualized. God cannot not be understood, only internalized, felt in the heart and soul. Ask Him to reveal himself and He will, but are you ready?

One, that God is a man. Two, that he has a long beard. Three, that God created Hell. How could a god so benevolent create hell? Four, that there is a coming Rapture. God never mentioned a thing in the Bible about the Rapture. Why would God raise up all the Christians while the Jews and Arabs fight it out til the end of days? Five, why would God choose to make the mother of his/her child a whore who got pregnant out of wedlock. Didn't God want his salvation to be believable. Why create a controversy of virgin birth.

What dose it matter,if you are a man of God you will know the truth. what i mean "man of God" is that do you go to church and listen and study and pray even on your time? The mainstream can say what ever it wants but the the truth is the truth. Amen

You are all essentially wrong.
You make the mistake of creating God in your image. You can not really conceive of God, only of the concept of a God. You can not have the God you wish, you are stuck with the one you've got. As a Christian I believe that God has explained what is expected of me through the revealed revelation of the Bible.

That God didn`t make a hell for the devil; and sinners who don`t turn to him. Also, that many people consider that if you are a good person you automatically go to Heaven. Also, that God can overlook those sins of sinners who don`t repent and turn to God.

That if a child is killed by a drunk driver, God wanted the child in heaven. The child died because of some drunk asswhoIe, and NOT because of God.

That god needs to be worshiped, I don't think that a entity as great as a god that created the universe feels the need to be worshiped by humans, I think that entity would rather have respect

That he'll let everyone into heaven or that the circumstances of one's death help determine where one will go after death. One example that comes to mind is the notion that every American who died on 9/11 is in heaven and is an angel.
