There's nothing better than pulling the duvet up tight round you whilst the wind is knocking the life out of everything outside! There is a major comfort with the wind and the rain banging on the windows at night!

One of my absolute favourite things in the whole world is lying in bed listening to the wind howling around the house and the rain lashing on the roof. I pull the covers right up to my neck and just listen. It's a wonderful and powerful sound. Sometimes if it gets really mad, I do get a bit scared. I have found my bins in the middle of the garden and pots on their side. Just love it though and thunder and lightening make it even better!!!

I was actually just out standing in my back garden, there is a park on the other side of my hedge,it was lovely listening to the wind howling through the trees with the leaves blowing about, its really nice standing out in it . Then I heard a crack from one of the trees or a branch and ran like f.u.c.k back into the house !lol

I've just moved into an old place & the wind howls under the doors, when the windows are open, it's like something out of a horror film but it sends me to sleep!

Makes me respect and marvel Mother Nature.

Edit: i've got purely study a number of your solutions, and that i will perceive with desire whilst she says she gets terrified of tornadoes, and others noted the terrifying hurricanes. we've in contemporary historic past even had hurricanes right here interior the united kingdom, and as quickly as we lived in Canada we've been in 'twister alley', and we did adventure one the place the rain replaced into actual horizontal, and replaced into getting into our abode between the window frames and the partitions! Our youthful tree interior the centre of our front backyard replaced into going around and around (twisting like a rope) - we got here to be attentive to what worry replaced into then, and went to the basement. So, looking back being scared could desire to continuously carry approximately desire, and there could desire to continuously be a coming near attempt to do all interior the organic that we are able to do to guard ourselves (the prayer presented as much as God is going including of this).
