Go to the doctor. You could have an ear infection that needs antibiotics. My husband was convinced he just had some wax in his ears and did the qtip/peroxide thing and finally after 3 days of suffering he went to the Dr. and got some antibiotics and it cleared up.

Put the Q-tip down!!! Q-tips do more damage than good. Doctors warn about sticking them in your ears, as they may harm your ear drum or some of the other fragile parts of your ear. Plus, all you're doing is pushing the wax further into the ear and making the problem worse. There are these all-natural ear drops at Wal-Mart from a company called Similsan that work wonderfully and are safe for your ears. It will help to loosen the wax and move it along, plus it will help to relieve the pain and pressure in your ear. But, please, stop using the Q-tips. If, after trying an over-the-counter ear drop doesn't work, see your doctor for something stronger. Good luck!

It is not a good idea to use Q-tips as they can push the wax further into your ear. Try putting a few drops of almond oil into your ear and then a small cotton wool ball - it may draw out the wax. Otherwise you can try using ear candles but make sure there is someone available to help you as it is dangerous to use them on your own.

If you start to feel any pain then you probably need to see your health practitioner or doctor to ensure you don't have an infection.

You most likely have some ear wax that has collected and hardened down in your ear canal. If a commerically available ear wax removal kit does not work, you should go the the doctor to have it flushed. This is not painful, but can cause you to feel dizzy. Good luck!

Apply moist heat to the ear and then lay down with that ear against the pillow(put something over the case). It should relieve the clog.

Debrox will soften the cerumen build up in your ear, follow directions about how many drops and how often and then lavage your ear to remove the wax. Ask your local pharmacist - they can help.

Put several drops of mineral oil in your ear three times a day for three days. Then, using a baby's suction bulb, suction out your ear. Keep putting the oil in and suctioning it out. It will soften the wax and let it come out.

Debrox. Buy it over the counter at your local drugstore. Use it for several days. If it doesn't help, then it's time to go see a doctor, who'll carve out the impact with a spatula.
