My daughter is 19 and on her,I don't know, maybe 4th "serious" relationship (according to her) and I haven't liked any of them! She is engaged to the most recent loser,is it normal to dislike any of your children's choices in mates?

Yeah but you outgrow it, hopefully. Just like your parents disliked your husband when you first met him.

It is perfectly normal to put your guard up when it comes to the possibility of letting your daughter go. Easier said than done, but try to loosen up. Give him a chance, and after a while if you see that you definitely don't like him, then it's ok, don't keep trying to convince yourself. But if you and your daughter are close, it is going to be hard to think of her having a relationship with anyone other than you. It is human nature. But remember, try to put things into perspective. Think of things ten years down the road. Can you picture her with this guy? If not, talk to her. Let her know how you feel and keep an open relationship with her. This will make her feel as if she can talk to you about more and more and it will improve your friendship. Hope I helped!!

Yes, but you have to remember that all humans have faults, some more than others.
