The ink in the tattoo should last more than 15 years unless you have had problems with tattoos in the past. It might fade considerably and run together a tad bit, but the ink will still be there. When I got a tattoo on my foot, the artist told me that because I had to wear socks everyday that the tattoo wouldn't last for 5 years. Well, that was at least 8 years ago.

I am not to sure I understand your question, BUT, technically, all tattoo's become a big blob eventually...as you get older, the ink just begins to run together since your skin isn't tight anymore, hope that makes sense, it made sense in my head, but I don't think I explained myself to well...but regardless, no tattoos last.
