Here are the five pros:
1)First and foremost – it held the fledgling 'states' together for eleven years – until the Constitution came along.
2)It was written during and immediately after a conflict/persecution period, and contained the immediate memory of same within its words.
3)It was written for the populous, not politicians.
4)It limited governmental power.
5)It first named the country: The United States of America

I just took a college course on American National Government and we talked all about this. However I wouldn't be helping you by giving you the answer.Rather then asking it on here why don't you just put Articles of Confederation into your search engine and do a little reading. Our history is really intersting!
