ok i have an ipod mini and its so stupid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im so pissed off... i spent like 200 bucks on it. when it charge it on my computer and go on itunes they dont let me put new songs on it because the update ipod thing doesnt go on they dont even say on my computer that the ipod is charged in the computer so i cant update it!!!!! it just sais on my ipod that its charging but i charged it for like 5 days! it pisses me off!!!!! how do i get that thing so that i can put songs on it?

i dont know what to tell you.i have an i pod mini too,but thats never happened to me.

Okay, you have Itunes on your computer but the computer isn't letting you update the device. Make sure you have the software loaded onto your computer. Itunes is on Version 7 now so go online and download that too. If all fails take it back to the store and get another one because if you've only had it a week or two it's still under store warranty and has a year warranty from Apple so send it back.

The same thing just happen to mine and I am waiting for the replies here.

I had previously done a lot of loading of songs and standup comics onto it but since I downloaded the newest itunes update I can't get anything into there.

I know what a right pain ipods can be as i have one myself! The songs wont update if your ipod is already plugged into the computer. Unplug your ipod and when u replug it after, the songs should automatically update. Hopefully anyway!

that happened to mine. first try resetting it... press the middle button and the top of the click wheel at the same time and hold it. that might help. also check and make sure the software on your ipod is up to date. if it is or if you are able to change it but it doesn't help, bring it to the apple store. if it's still under warranty they'll replace it for free.
