Can you get email with an attachment? Thats one work around.
Sometimes Email is size restricted though, so it may not work.
Also, they may not block traffic on FTP. Its a different port than the normal web uses. Some SYSADMINS dont think things all the way through, and there is sometimes a HOLE you can get through. FTP information is available on the web, its not hard, but you can download from your file explorer without even launching the web.

Download it from a different computer that doesn't have Internet restrictions (Home, Kinkos, a friend's house) Burn it to a disc or save the download to a flash portable drive. Then install it at work.
A program called RealAlternative is a RealPlayer software that works just like the original one and plays all the real formats.
It just works faster because it doesn't install all the extra stuff.

i am a system admin
there is no way that u can download anything if your company blocks out downloads
does ur company even block installing software?
if not thn go home download the software on your machine put it on a cd and install it on the work computer
else request the network admin to let you have access
or maybe he can open up downloads for certain type of software and put it on a shared folder on the network
