What I normally do, if I don't know what to get, is give them money. However, if its a person you love, then what you have to do is research. If you ever go to her house, look around a little bit (but don't be nosy) and see if there is a "theme" to her bedroom. For example, if she has a lot of.....unicorns, then get here a special, very pretty unicorn. You don't want it to be a normal unicorn, then it just looks like you don't care that much. Maybe get a unicorn that's her favorite color. (I'm basing this whole answer on "If she likes unicorns") If you can't find something, or you think the present you got her was kinda lame, a very nice watch. It worked with my brother and his girlfriend. Make sure whatever you get her you know she likes and its not gaudy (big, ugly, too much). Good Luck.

Flowers....one dozen Roses...I know it is overplayed but do it man, girls always dig flowers.
Take her out for a nice dinner, dress it up, hold her hand at dinner and definitly order dessert.
Buy her a nice piece of jewelry....Safest bet is a Bracelet or necklace...keep it simple but spend some money.

Depends are her age and preferences, but you can almost never go wrong with a gift certificate for a full day and a spa!

I saw a one pound block of chocolate at Trader Joe's! That would be perfect, all girls love chocolate and it's so huge that she'll get a great laugh out of it, too. That will be $15.
