I am a working mother, just turned 41 and have experienced two periods in one month.
I had a period July 2 -5th, then on July 18th I found out my father passed, I began another period on July 19th which lasted 4 - 5 days.

In August my period started on the 3rd week. However, this month (September) I had my period on the 7 - 10th. Then again on the 17th. This time my breasts were sensitive, and my period started out dark and light flowing, then as the days have been progressing it has gotten heavier and brighter.

I phoned my OBGYN and they do not have any openings until next Thursday.
Could I be post menapausal (not experiencing hot flashes, sweats, etc..) or is this something that happens to some women when they are stressed? Could I be hemorrhaging? Can someone please tell me if this has happened to them, or if they may have some insight for me?

it ought to, yet it really is unclear it would postpone it for that lengthy a time. truly stress can postpone your era for some days, yet once you've been having sexual kin, then get on your gynecologist pronto. there's a strong replace you could nicely be pregnant. on the least, you'll opt to apply a house being pregnant attempt then see your doctor even if the attempt is efficacious or unfavourable.

I think you are pre-menopausal. Your hormones are changing and may cause more than one, or sometime no period for a month or so. In any case, get the closest appointment you can and discuss it with your Dr.

Yes, stress can be a factor in altering or changing your period. It can cause two in a month...one to run longer. It can also cause you to skip periods for months on end.

To much stress, get off your feet, relax. It happens. Some times we need to kick back, relax, take in all that is happening around us, and take care of self. Read a good book.

I believe it is stress. Just like when my wife is late, and I know it is stress. Drink water, take vitamins, then go on Thursday.

Relax :)
