You may have noticed that I asked for an interesting psychology topic a few weeks ago or so...and what a coincidence, IM BACK ASKING FOR AN INTERESTING BIOLOGY TOPIC! Sry......you see the community college I am going to started this new thing where every class, math too, must have 1 writing assignment for the semester! interesting huh? Anyway...for the pyschology topic, I did get really good feedback and now I am looking forward to see what type of things come up for BIOLOGY!

In biology, I find nothing more fascinating than Toxins. These wonders are found everywhere in the planet. What is interesting is these 'killers' can actually be used to save millions of life. Not only that, you can also use these toxins (eg: Tetradotoxin, Saxitoxin) in experiments to understand various biological processes.
After you study these toxins (especially about those you find around you -in garden, kitchen etc), you will certtainly not view the world the same way again.

Try something in brain or memory research, good topic. depending on how long it has to be you could do it on the evolution right before our eyes....like sea slugs that suck the chlorophyl out of seaweed or algae and then use them symbionicly to produce energy. they store the chloroplasts in a special stomach they developed to house them; and let them absorb sunlight and produce energy for the host.
