"The Blang (布朗族 : Bùlǎng Zú) (also spelled Bulong) people are an ethnic group. They form one of the 56 ethnic groups officially recognized by the People's Republic of China.

"The Blang language belongs to the Mon-Khmer family of languages. Some Blang also speak Chinese language and Dai languages in addition to speaking Blang. Two systems of writing based on the Latin alphabet have been developed: 'Totham' in the Xishuangbanna and 'Tolek' from Dehong and Lincang."

Ang Bulong ay isang uri ng Tulang Pilipino

Ang ating mga ninuno ay naniniwala rin sa mga di nakikitang espirito gaya ng mga lamang lupang espirito tulad ng mga duwende. Ang ating mga ninuno ay humihingi ng ng pasintabi at paumanhin sa mga ito upang hindi sila mapahamak sa mga masasamang pangyayari.

(Bulong is one kind of Filipino Poetry. Most of our ancestors believe in unseen spirits/supernatural beings like dwarfs. They ask for permission from them so as not to have bad things happen to them.)

Halimbawa (for example):

Tabi, tabi po, Ingkong
Makikiraan po lamang.

O di kaya naman eh ang modern version eh:
Tabi, Tabi po, nuno
Makikiraan po.
