The first one. Iambic pentameter means that every-other sylable is stressed. So say the sentance and clap each sylable. Clap louder for the stressed sylables. It takes a little practice to hear it but you'll get it eventually

compare to:
the FIGures were ranged in COLums beFORE me
not THAT the PINES are DARker there
and SORry I could not TRAvel both
C could be if you stressed "there," but try saying it, it sounds really unnatural.
