Are they permitted to vote in anything other than local elections ?

I know that all Americans cannot vote.People who have felony convictions lose their right to vote, but I was under the impression that voters have limited powwer in DC. Please clarify.

the 23rd amendment now allows citizens of d.c. to vote in the presidential election and allocates three electoral votes to d.c. also.

People in Washington DC are allowed to and do vote in Presidential elections.

Washington DC actually has the most electoral votes per person of any part of the country. See the 23rd amendment.

That is not true...every legal, registered American Citizen, is allowed to vote, in DC or anywhere else they might be, in the World.

They are not in a state, as required by the Constitution. I think they now can vote for a representative in congress.
