I have seen the moon rise across the horizon, but never a moon rise out of the sea. Is the full moon in August the only time it rises out of the sea? If so I have to make sure I plan a trip to the East coast next August.

Yes often and there no words to describe that feeling!! I walk on the Beach for hours at night when there is a full moon!!

Yes, and better yet, while in the middle of the ocean! ... It is truly a majestic sight - BUT, it is nothing compared to the mathematical objects and philosophical concepts that I've been blessed enough to behold with my Mind's Eye!
