cough medicine by prescription usually has codeine for pain relief. all opiates are addictive.
atuss comes in different form like robitussin.
check what she is taking, HD is listed as a narcotic

it all depends some cough medicine has drugs in them that can become addictive does it have a warning label if it doesn't then there's no problem

You can get hooked on anything.
A couple of websites mention that you shuoldn't take atuss if you have a history of drug dependance, which would suggest that it is addictive.
If she is worried, she should ask for a second opinion.

YEAP!!!!!!! You most definitely can.....especially if it has codeine in it...........it's like taking it in pill form which is called vicodin....i know b/c i have to take vicodin for my severe back pain.
