I've had a 360 since June and love it. Simply put, it is an awesome machine. I'm sure you know all the media functions it has, but you can't truly appreciate its versatility until you get one. The graphics are spectacular, EVEN if you don't have a HD TV (but much better on HD). The game library isn't too big now but wait and see the games that are about to come out (ike Gears of War, Halo 3, Lost Odyssey- possibly a final fantasy killer, Bioshock, Lost Planet, Assasin's Creed, etc). Money-intensive Microsoft is using a lot of its resources (i.e. sign developers) to make sure it will beat PS3 so expect BIG things. I've been a PS fan my whole life, but i've been converted (its that good). Wii will be fun, but you'll miss out on all the must have next-gen hits like GTA 4 and Halo 3. Plus concerning the overheating and freezing issues, if you buy one now Microsoft will have fixed most of the bugs compared to the earlier systems out in the market. Trust me, an Xbox 360 is a very entertaining investment. I guarentee you will not be disappointed.

I can't answer the 360 question because for now I only have a PS2 too.
>> But Za had a good suggestion about games on ebay, and I wanted to add one other source.. garage sales -- WOW -- do they ever sell PS2 games CHEAP!!
It's just incredible how many people buy things only to get bored with them a few months later and sell them at their garage sales.
I probably got 14 PS2 games last Saturday at a garage sale for a dollar each.. incredible. They even had two DDR's, plus mats all for $5 and they work great.
As far as the xBoz verses the 360, check sites that have reviews on them (there has to be a ton of them) and see what the others are reporting now that they've tried them.
:o) ~~ Great question!!

xbox 360 they keep making improvements on it and it gets better all the time. The 360 has a lot of potential they just need to make games to take full advantage of that power.

I had a 360 for five months and sold it because it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. In fact, it wasn't much better than PS2.
