ok here it is from first hand experiance. I just spent 8 years in the service and all I used was permanent markers. The best thing to get that off a mirror is rubbing alcohol. followed with a little glass cleaner. Orange clean works also.

Good luck.

The best thing in the world for taking ink stains off of counters, mirrors, wood, etc. is good old fashioned hair spray. You heard it, hairspray. Back in the days when grocery stores used to stamp the price on cans with ink, they used hairspray to take off ink stains from the checkout counters. Try it!!!!

Try spray net. It works for almost anything, also nail polish, but spray net will also remove oil stains in carpets and on upholstery.

Isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol from the drugstore does this very well.
