Like Iraq. We are giving this country a gift called democracy. And liberals want our troops home WAY TOO EARLY.

libs mindlessly banter over issues to criticize the administration, remember when they were all bitchy and whiny over us trying implement "our form of democracy"...then like 250,000 first time women voters showed up with blue thumbs? Then the lib spin was "OH, they were thumbing in the face of America, defiantly standing up to our oppressive occupation" It's always something!

Well Ah Ha you know the old saying, charity begins at home.
When that little punk, Attorney General Albert Gonzales, and other Bush officials stop going to capital hill to try to curtail our Democracy (i.e. force phone & internet companies to turn over records, allow eavesdropping without warrants etc) that's when we'll okay Democracy for other countries.
And by the way, you call what's going on in Iraq Democracy? Shiites going after Sunnis and vice versa with Kurds stuck in the middle? Man, you need to get a good dictionary.

So Bush is really a liberal, who took out that far right wing conservative Saddam Hussein and his Republican Guard so that Iraq can have a good, decent, honest Liberal Democratic Party like the USA has instead of just a evil lying murdering conservative party. I'll buy that.

RECEIVE democracy?
How about get INVADED and OCCUPIED, then have "democracy" forced down your throat, after losing the lives of over 100,000 civilians and counting?
How about getting INVADED over a SERIES of FALSE PRETENSES...finally settling on "bringing democracy", because everything else turned out to be a lie? (No WMD's, No Saddam-Ossama connection, no involvement in 9-11)
NONE of us has an issue with helping a country. WE have an issue with Bush REPEATEDLY lying about our reasons for being there. NOTHING he is doing in Iraq has any positive affect on terrorism (which is WORLDWIDE), and the mis-named Patriot Act diminished OUR rights, liberties, privacy, guarantee of due process, and protections from unfair treatment by our own government. It protects our government from US, and protects us from NOTHING.
It's IRONIC that our soldiers are fighting for IRAQI freedom, while our President strips us of OURS.

600,000 Iraqi's were killed under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein. I'm sure their families are relieved that Saddam is no longer in power. Many people have to die for the freedom of their country. Even one like ours.
I don't know why anyone wouldn't want all nations to live in freedom; free from tyranny and oppression.

how much more democracy do you think they can handle? They voted in Hamas, and Bush didn't like that, so do they have to do it 'Bush style?' Democracy is imposed on them, but besides, weren't we trying to fight a war on terror? Or, I mean, a war to find the WMDs? Or wait, now it is to bring democracy to Iraq? What will be the excuse next year?

They are opposed to anything that benefits anyone other than themselves. They are opposed to ANYTHING this administration initiates.
If GW came up with a cure for cancer, a solution for world peace and a way to use garbage as a primary fuel, the liberals would complain...
