...My Honey and I have been together for about 3years...but living 2-gether for 1year...we recently go pregnant and I'm 21weeks but my Mother-in-Law wants us Married before the baby gets here....but me and my honey have other thinks in mind... she keeps bringing it up in family ratherings and keeps pushing the topic....but she also repeats the fact that we come from different cultures and thats why we do care anymore on His family Traditions...(His American and I'm Puerto Rican)..How can we tell to mind her business her without making her upset or angry??

i had the same problem and one day my fiance had to tell his mother to mind her own business. Trust me he needs to do this now before the baby comes. Next thing you know she'll be telling you what to do with the new baby. She may get her feelings hurt but everyone at one time or another needs to be put in there place and its your lives not hers to live.

Befor birth is the only chance your baby will ever have to be born with legally married parents. There is no second chance. I know you and your guy may have other planns but do it for your baby you want regret it. U can divorce later. It is better to come from a broken marriage than to come from a shack-up.

I would suggest both you and your bf tell her to stop. That when the time is right you will be married. I also would let her know that it is in your culture to get married also. I also would tell her that maybe it is time for a new tradition.

mother inlaws always think they no best but deep down they do love you both reguarding your situation tell her its your life and if she wants to see her grandchild to back off cause she is going the right way not to see it ok she might say she doesnt care but once the babys here things change. you have to think of yourselfs and your forth comming baby
