I wouldn't say it's "wrong". You are a still a "child" yourself in age however you may feel mature enough to have a baby. I agree that society looks down on teen pregnancies because the fact is, the parents may not be able to finish school, find a decent job which pays for the child & therefore society may end up paying for the baby through assistance, welfare etc....My opinion is that you will miss out on a lot of teenage things but I guess you may not miss them if you don't have a chance to experience them. I hope you & your boyfriend can stay together in a relationship & if you can't then what will happen w/the baby? You now have to put all of your needs and feelings aside because this baby boy deserves to be your number one priority...he didn't ask to be conceived. I waited until I was married for 3 years and 27 yrs old) before my husband & I even felt unselfish enough & mature enough to have a baby. It's not easy & we both make decent money. Good luck & keep that baby safe, that's all that matters now. Take Care & God Bless

If all you are going to do is bring a child into this world, not have the ability to afford to take care of yourself and the child, and drain our welfare system because you were irresponsible and ignorant...then, yes. That was a bad idea. If your family or your boyfriend's family is rich and are going to provide you with the thousands of dollars that child is going to cost or you two are going to be responsible and support yourselves...then, no. Not a bad idea, but likely that is not the case, and you will only be taking from society rather than giving. It would be best to hold out until you are mature, LEGAL, financially and emotionally ready to be responsible for a life other than your own. Good luck.

If you can handle it, its ok, you are right it is fround apone by society. I dont think haveing a baby at such a young age is the best thing personaly. I think it would be better to have school done and a good job and the abilety to suport yourself and your family, but some people/couples are able to do that young, with a baby.

im also a sophomore in high school and i think that having a baby now, you are holding yourself up from finishing high schoool or even go to college. i dont think its the worst thing in the world but i think that you are not ready for that responsibility. a baby is a blessing and wish you congrats to your baby boy. good luck and keep the faith

I do not think it is wrong but I do think that you are going to have a harder life. You will need to go to school, work and be a mother... same as the bf.
