Gen. 1 says God took six days to create the world and everything therein. Isaiah 66:1 says God called the world into being. Science says the world came via a big bang and the earth spins on an axis. What I want to know is what's holding up this axis or what is it fastened to?

The Earth,Moon and all the other planets revolve around the Sun in a delicate dance because of gravity, centrifugal force and the basic laws of physics. The Earth revolves on it's axis while the Moon revolves around us.Both revolve around the Sun.The Earth/Moon is held in place in three dimensions by the Sun's gravity(pulling us toward it) and centrifugal force(pulling us away from the Sun).
Granted, this is a very basic explanation as to what is going on.

Holding it UP? Fastened to? Are you 8 years old? An axis is a point around which a given object turns. For a sphere, you draw an imaginary line between the points at both poles, and that is an axis. Since there is nowhere to FALL in space, you dont need to 'hold it up'. The earth orbits around a star named Sol, otherwise known as 'the sun'. Nothing is 'holding up' the sun either, since it floats in space. Ok?

Lol...first of all the axis does not exist. It is an imaginary line. It's the same as the nonexistent equator except the axis goes straight through the Earth from North Pole to South Pole. The planet revolves on this central line. (axis also applies to a glorious force who fought and died for the Volkermord.)

The axis is the imaginary line around which the earth spins. Throw a ball up in the air and whilst it is up there it is free to spin about its axis with nothing 'supporting' the axis itself.

Where did "Gen 1" come from and the proof or documentation
The same for Isaiah66.1 SO at least that makes sense. but who witnessed it?
Science has photos, it can record the expansion, we can see on TV, our earth, moon, the iss, even the shuttle. Hubble has more photos in many media. there is the Cassini that just returned photos of Saturn. We have the science labs across the states like Lawrence Livermore. Have you been there? Do so! you will drop that islam nonsense quick, it is so fake.
Why do you reject the facts. Because SOMEONE told you?
I see I am off base on this one. SORRY!

An axis is something similar to a rod or a line, something else is rotating around'

The axis is not a real thing, it is the tilt that the earth is on
