in iTunes, why do i have so many more items in my library than on my iPod?

also, why are some of the items- mainly movies and stuff- "refusing" to leave limewire and go to iTunes (and later to my iPod?)????

Check if you are downloading podcasts, also check your settings for "syncing" your ipod and your playlists. Some files have to be Itunes friendly, some movies can be imported to itunes but not watched in Ipod because of the mp4 codec, you have to transform selection to ipod or download a movie converter.

you must not update your ipod, limewire does not go directly on itunes
