I think we all know the answer to this question.
Put it this way: Some people are so addicted to yahoo answers that they spend all their time on here.... and its only mildly interesting. What about something fun like blowing up zombies or carjacking games? VERY interesting and fun.
Therefor to answer your question, YES computer games are addictive.

Did you ever hear those news stories about the kids who killed themselves after their lvl 93358 mage on WoW got killed? Or, the news stories about the kids who had to be admitted to the ER due to malnutrition resulting from spending so much time playing games, they forgot (or didn't care) to eat. And, speaking for myself, I once spent so much time sitting at my desk playing that my legs atrophied (they're better now...:P ).
So, I would say the answer is most definitely yes.
