Georges grandfather made much of his fortune working for the NAZI party, leading up to WWII. No wonder George Jr. identifies with the Far Right, and why he has such a cozy relationship with the military/industrial complex. One of George Jr's largest contributers is UBS AB a German company implicated in the scandal.

Look at dad (HW) and the brothers and you get to some of the best stories of the past century. BCCI, Black CIA, Cubans, Contras, Bin Ladens, many kuwaiti's and Arab Elites, bank frauds, insurance frauds etc.
Thats just the blood relatives - it is an organized crime family so you have a lot of associates, Capo's and such - Cheney, Reich, Baker, Abdullah, Ghorbanifar, Noriega - an endless list - surely one of the most notorious crime families in the world and a lot bigger than any Mafia family or drug cartel.
But this has all been known forever - and widely known since the Elder Bush was a VP candidate under Reagan.
I suppose it's how W got elected at all - the people wanted a bad-boy (born again and MUST be a lot smarter than he seems) and the money wants a well connected criminal with a long resume of large-scale theft and fraud and an equally long record of getting away with it.

It is fairly well known. There were many US companies that were involved in business transactions with the Nazi party and with Germany prior to the US joining the allies against Germany/Japan.
The business dealings were not just by the US...most of Europe was also doing business with them at first.
