All of the above.

The skill is how and at what stage you apply them.
If you do not eat the right amount of calories from the various food groups you will not see any noticeable results.

You need a well rounded exercise regime preferably training 3-4 x a week. Employing various training methods ranging from sets,
super sets , pyramid training, circuit training........ for resistance training.

slow continuous, fatlek, interval training for cardio .

or you can mix up cardio/resistance and create your own circuit training.

The only limit is your imagination

This is good cause roids won't help. You need to do a lot of cardio, and build muscle to burn calories when you aren't exercising. Have complete workouts (make sure you are getting every muscle group). Drink lots of water and eat healthy. Don't up your protein intake unless you aren't building enough muscle. Stay clear of alcohol, red meat, dessert, and dairy products.

You should see real results (like really noticeable) in 2 or 3 months

Try cutting down on the weights that you are using. And go for more rep's. And bost you protein level up. And depending on how much you carb your=self up. Try and cut down a little on them. Remember with carbs. The more you eat. And the les you burn. they will store as fat. The same as eating to much fatty foods. But with protiens. If you eat to much protein as in more than 30grammes at a time. You will just pass it out when you go to the loo. And it has a sweet smell to it. Keep up the training. Good luck
