I've been reading a lot of articles that say that we Dems are better off not gaining control of Congress so that we can win it all, House, Senate & Presidency in 2008. The pundints are saying that if we win, Bush will blame any problems on the Democratic Congress (the Democratic Congress would be his scapegoat and that would help Republican Candidates for 08).

What do you fellow Democrats think (and only Democrats answer this please). Here's a link to one article:

I think they should focus on mid term. We do not know who will be in it for 08 yet. If Hillary gets nod then it will be lost. All stops will be pulled out to keep her from getting elected. Lets win the first battle. Then we can focus on the war later.

Well Gaaawwwly.....We in Massachusetts just had a primary victory for Deval Patrick who if he is elected Governor and has a good term in office would be a great presidential candidate in 2008.

im neither party but no, the dems should push for the house n senate now, that way it will not only be set up for them in 2008 but they will be able to push thru the immigration bills waiting in the wings so we can get this crap done now as well as a minimum wage
