For most women, it takes years (or maybe even never) to get a regular cycle that you can set your clock by. I doubt you've been menstruating long enough to have settled into one yet. As an adolescent, your hormones are fluctuating much more than it will as you get older. Even if you were older, it is not uncommon for many non-pregnant women to skip a period.
Also, you say you had cramps but no flow. It is possible (depending on how much time between the cramping & now) that what you felt was your fallopian tubes contracting to release the egg from the ovaries through the tubes into the uterus (your period doesnt start until the egg reaches the uterus unfertilized). That is a different cramp than the cramping of the uterus to expel the endometrial lining. Often it is less strong, shorter lasting, and located on just one side of your body.
Another possibility is that you weigh too little to have a regular period... if your body is too unhealthy to carry a child, it often won't release an egg. Have you lost weight, been sick, or not eating healthy foods? Stress can cause the same reaction as well.
The bottom line is:
If you aren't sexually active (and I say sexually active meaning any sexual activity, not just intercourse as sperm can enter your vagina even if he hasn't orgasmed (there are sperm in pre-***) or penetrated you just by being rubbed, fondled, etc in the vicinity of your vagina) then you aren't pregnant, so it most likely isnt a big concern. Quite normal.
However, since you are concerned, and should be taking care of your body, I suggest you go to a gynecologist strictly because now that you are menstruating you need a yearly exam, aka pap smear. Dont worry, it doesnt hurt, and is quick and painless with the worst part being minor embarrassment. Good luck.

Well, sometimes you can skip a period if you've been under a lot of stress... Also I'm guessing that you havnt had your period for that long as your only 13, when your new to it your body hasnt developed a perfect shedual yet. You might just be late or you can even skip a couple. Sometimes certain pills can affect your schedual too. Don't worry, it's pretty common to not be "on time" all the time. Some women never have a regular cycle.. it can be scattered all the time. Also, i you are starving yourself or not eating ennough you can lose it. I know because a lot of girls do it...

Trust me it is perfectly normal. I am gonna be 18 in January, and I started my period when i was 10 or 11. I was regular for a year then I didnt have it for a year, then I had it every two or three months, when i turned 15 it was regular again and now it comes when it wants to.... alls I can tell you is wait to have sex, cause that can screw it up even more.... I know.... it was my 16th b-day when i lost my virginity and my period still isnt normal.

If you have lost weight, say you went from 110, to 95 for some reason, then you have stopped your period because it only comes when you are big enough to support an unborn baby, and at 95 pounds your body may not be ready. If you haven't lost weight, talk to your doctor, or your school nurse.

if you have been around a guy that has touched himself then touched you down there you can get pregnant. If sperm enters your vagina then you can be pregnant. But if you have never done this then you are fine. Sometimes at your age periods are not perfect. I would go to the doctor and make sure you are ok. Tell your mom that your period is wacko

By the age of thirteen it is common for periods to be irregular. Your weight may also be the cause, women that are very skinny... under 100 lbs tend to have irregular periods or can stop having periods it is very common. Relax and enjoy not having it.

If its the first year or two its normal to be not regulated yet. stop stressing its completly normal if you havent had sex. if you calm down it might come or it might not. sometimes stress prolonged for weeks can make it skip. you are okay but if you skip for 3 months and havent had sex go to the doctor you may have polysistic ovarian syndrome.

It can happen especially if you have been sick. If you miss again, tell your mom and see a doctor. If you have not had sex, you are not pregnant. But remember, if you had sperm on your hand and touched yourself you could be. If that could possible, talk to your parent or councilor at school.
