hello, i posted this one before, but i have found the official terminology, which might help.
after a rough sex session with no lube, i have a small tear in my frenulum,

the small tear is about 1cm below where the arrow is pointing to in the first pic:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frenulum

there was/is no blood or anything, it is just very tender/raw and sensitive whenever i get an erection or masturbate (of which i am trying to avoid - but i am 22, this is very difficult!).

i have had this for 2 weeks now. has anyone else had this happen? and how did they cure it? i am going to go to the doctors tomorrow to have it checked out. will it be ok to just go to a nhs walk-in clinic to get this checked out (as i am not yet registered with a gp). thanks!

You can go to a walk-in clinic...be prepared for an old nurse (possibly with a hairy chin), to insist on peering at your knob. She will then tell you not to ****/shag otherwise you'll end up with gangrene.

I had the exact same problem. I found the only thing to do is leave it. If you don't wait long enough it will tear again - Believe me I am talking from experience. Don't tug yourself off at all as I found this is worse, and where possible even try to avoid getting hard as stretching the skin doesn't help at all. I found that 2 weeks of acting like I had no penis other than to take a leak cured it, try not to get piss in the cut - it stings like buggery !

Try to leave it alone if you can. Put some antibiotic cream on it maybe, or lotion. But don't do anything to it and it should heal itself. If not, see a doctor.
