When African Slaves were brought here along with their agony they brought their spiritual music. Throughout years of horrors in bondage released an outpouring of Human Spirit, these people cried with tears and voice to their GOD in Heaven. He heard their suffering and gave them Gospel Music.
Modern American Music had been born. Decades enduring pains and troubles of being black they found a way to escape; which was though their music. This evolved to include: Blues, Jazz, Rock, R+B, Soul... the list goes on and on. Other countries wondered how could such a down-trodden race of people invent such a brilliant form of Art.
The music you listen to today has its ORIGINS IN BLACK MUSIC.
Cannot you show some appreciation for the contribution these people made to one of your favorite forms of entertainment

Thanks for letting me know what mobo means. I'm black and don't care if you label music mowo. Mowo would likely only be classical and folk music from Europe since rock and even country and western has black origins.
