EXTREMELY unlikely! Have a DNA check done if you need to know.
Any progeny from that sex should have been born by end of September, beginning October at the latest. Not almost 2 months after that. You aren't elephants, are you? ;-)
I think she is yanking your chain...

No way. That's 47 calendar weeks, without adjusting for when her last period would have been. There's no way a doctor would let a pregnancy gestate that long; at some point the umbilical cord begins to break down and the child would cease getting oxygen and nutrients. I was born 2 weeks late and that pretty much the latest you hear of... these days it's more like a week.
Without a DNA test, it's just your word against hers. Luckily for you, you know the outcome will be in your favor.

By my count that is 11 months. You're sure you never had sex later? A one-night "we're still broken up but what the f*** let's do it anyway" kind of thing? Maybe with a little alcohol so your memory is funny? Get a paternity test that will straighten it out once and for all. But if you really never had sex after the 1st then no, it's not possible. No doctor with a liscense would let a woman carry that long, they would induce labor way before that.

No a baby concieve on the January first would be due about Sept. 23rd that would be 2 months over due she is lying. Unless you had sex after that you should be safe. Oh and as for a paternity test some heath department actually offer them not sure if it is something income based or not but i am sure it would be cheaper through them either way. Good luck.

You could be. I would get a DNA test done, unfortunately they cost around $600 (so I heard). That really stinks that she waited this long to tell you about it. In the end regardless of what you feel for her or her for you, this child deserves a mother and a father, they didn't do anything wrong. Good luck and I Hope your heart is in the right place as well as the mothers. :)

If you are sure about the dates then it is physically impossible for the child to be yours. If the baby was born on time then her estimated last menstrual cycle was Feb 19th. So even if she went over the forty week period it is impossible. Even if her last period was around the first and she got pregnant right away the baby would be due in the beginning of October. Tell her to check the math. You are not her child's dad.

If that was the last time you had sex with her, then no, I dont think that would be your baby. If a baby was conceived on Jan. 1 it would be born in early October. But just to be on the safe side you could always have a dna test done.

No. That pregnancy would've lasted 11 months. Normal pregnancies will only last 9 months and doctors would only let it go a week or 2 longer then that before inducing labor. You can also get a dna test done to disprove her claim.

Absolutely not, pregnancy is only 9 months long, anything over that and she got pregnant after you broke up. Don't let her trick you, but if you want to be 100% sure, get a DNA test. My instinct would say no way in hell! (can I say that on here?)

Normal gestation for a baby is 40 weeks. My guess is that unless the baby was over a month overdue then it's not yours. If you are getting pushed into child support then you should insist on a paternity test.......call Maury Povich..he does them all the time.
