Why limit yourself to UK hosting?
The most reliable hosts are in the US and allow any domain extensions (co.uk, net, org, com, etc...).
I personally used to use one called lunarpages. Their bandwidth was massive, down-time was virtually nil and had an excellent front end with all you require plus much more. All from $6.95 per month. A little more than you want to pay but still only about £3.65
