I HAVE THIS REALLY CLOSE GUY FRIEND.....ME AND A BUNCH OF MY OTHER FRIENDS WERE HANGING OUT.....AND MY FRIEND JOSE WAS LAYING NEXT TO ME ON A COUCH AND NOW MY "CLOSE FRIEND" (JUAN) IS MAD AT ME FOR BEING NEXT TO JOSE.
JOSE IS MY FRIEND AND JUAN GETS ALL BUTTHURT ABOUT IT AND STOPS TALKING TO ME.....WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT THIS SITUATION?
SHOULD I TALK TO HIM?
OR JUST LET HIM ACT STUPID?

he likes you thats why he is butthurt he doesnt want another man to lay next to you he wants to be that man talk to him chick and get it over with so things can get back to normal for you two

Well I think Juan thinks he is more than a friend. I say talk to him because there might be some deeper feelings that Juan wants to get out. Talking about a problem is the best way to solve it, plus you don't want to lose a friend over something so small and stupid. Good Luck

Juan is obviously jealous. He may not necessarily like you (romantically), but it hurts him to see you with someone else even if you weren't romantically interested in him. He cares about you and probably wants what is best for you (whom he thinks is NOT Jose). Try talking to him - but let HIM do the talking - you listen. If he refuses to talk to you then give him a couple days and let him act stupid. Try talking to him again after he has had time to cool off.

He likes you. Since you wrote "close friends" I assume you know he likes you or that you guys are kinda going out. I wouldn't mind my girlfriend lying next to a guy, as long as I KNOW the guy, like he has to be my best friend.
If he is just a friend, then he has no right to be mad, even if he likes you.

you and your friend need to sit down and chat tell them there is nothing going on and why are they reacting like this if it carrys on you wont be friends any more dont let your friend do this too you its silly and stupid over something or nothing
