As any other product or service to be exploited. Oh, yeah, they think we have attitude problems. I wonder why that would be!

I think women are viewed more like sex products. of course, it is not the fault of men....its only because women dress up and behave like sluts. perhaps, thats why words like *****, ***** and **** are very common here. however, some women who are modest by nature and study to go on the top are to some extent given good respect. but when it comes to salary, they are still paid low compared to men who do the similar jobs. so u see here men and women are not really taken as equal....in many cases, women are still taken as dumb. and thats why no woman has ever become a US president. and oh yeah, even in the family a girl is still taken as not so special in this society. for instance, when JFK junior died CNN lamented by saying that the "only" son of President has died. they kind of ignored the fact that he also had a sister. Overall, although we americans proudly say to others that in our society men n women r equal, we actually take men as still the superior human beings!

If you were from the largest part of our society, you would understand women are at the top of the pecking order--men do everything to please them. Not just as a mate for love making, but as a life-long partner who is entrusted with family assets--children, home, emotional well being of all, etc. Unfortunately there are those in our society who are un-educated, lack moral fiber, and do not repect themselves enought to apprectiate this view of women or men. They could, but they have an enormous educational, environmental, and emotional barriers and issues to overcome. Some of this is not their problem, but a lot of it is.

Dear Tina, as a feminist I view them still to be subordinate to men in every sphere whether economic, political or social.

women has many roles like mother,sister,adviser,life partner,builder of life, n etc . she acts as important character in our life n creation . so we give them a great prestige. we see goddess Laxmi inside their hearts.we call them GRIHALAXMI.
